Kipp Coddington is a Senior Advisor at the School of Energy Resources at the University of Wyoming and was previously the Director of the Center for Energy Regulation & Policy Analysis. He has degrees in Chemical Engineering (B.S.) and Law (J.D.). He is an international expert in carbon management law, policy, & regulation, specifically focused on carbon capture & storage (CCS) as well as an expert in carbon markets, both voluntary and compliance. Mr. Coddington is one of the nation’s leading experts in Class VI (CO2 wells) permitting under the Underground Injection Control program. As principal investigator, he has led multiple CCS projects with the US Department of Energy worth tens of millions of dollars. He has unique and renowned experience in terms of CCS legal, policy, economics, regulation matters.
