Next week, researchers at Carbon Solutions will be giving four presentations at the 16^th Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies Conference (GHGT-16) in Lyon, France. The third talk will be on the latest developments with our pipeline routing tool, CostMAPᴾᴿᴼ,  “CostMAPᴾᴿᴼ: Addressing the massive-scale CO₂ pipeline challenge.”

Several new features have been added to CostMAPᴾᴿᴼ, including: 1) the addition of new routing layers such as environmental justice, 2) ability to operate at resolutions ranging from 90 m to 720 m, and 3) routing and construction costs have been separated so that critical features such as wetlands can be avoided without changing the cost. The talk provides an overview of these and other updates, with examples of how they have been implemented.
