Meet The Team
Adam Mayer is an interdisciplinary social scientist investigating CO₂ capture, storage, and transport. He has an extensive background in academic and technical writing, data management, data analytics, and both qualitative and quantitative methods. Adam is especially well-trained in causal inference and survey data analysis and has an interest in issues around energy justice and community engagement.
Before joining Carbon Solutions, Adam earned a PhD from Colorado State University, focusing on oil and gas development. Adam has worked as a research associate at Michigan State University and Colorado State University studying the social, economic, and ecological aspects of energy projects.
