Anna Turnini
Research Associate
Anna Turnini is a Petroleum Geologist with 16 years of Exploration & Production experience. Her areas of expertise include Petrophysics, Reservoir Characterization and Modeling, Hydrocarbon Development & Planning, and large data collection and analysis.
Prior to joining Carbon Solutions, Anna was at various Private E&P companies including Templar Energy, Red Bluff Resources, Enerquest and American Energy Partners. Anna also spent 7 years at Range Resources in Oklahoma City with their Mid-Continent team where she worked in both Exploration and Development. She has experience in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs and has spent a large portion of her career dedicated to the Mississippian Reservoirs of the Mid-Continent.
Anna has a BS in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a MS in Geology from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Oklahoma where she is focused on the CO₂ Sequestration potential for reservoirs found in the State of Oklahoma. She is also an expert witness for Geology and Engineering in the State of Oklahoma and is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
Anna resides in Oklahoma City with her husband and 2 children. When she isn’t working she can be found chauffeuring children to sporting and school events and trying to convince her husband to take another trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to sit on the shores of Gichigami.
