Dane McFarlane

Director of Climate and Policy

Dane McFarlane is the Director of Climate and Policy at Carbon Solutions. McFarlane is the primary author of An Atlas of Carbon and Hydrogen Hubs for United States Decarbonization, as well as the Transport Infrastructure for Carbon Capture and Storage whitepaper, published by the Great Plains Institute and the Regional Carbon Capture Deployment Initiative. Dane has worked on creating technical models for energy and climate research, and on developing new analytical techniques to inform climate and energy policy development. Dane has led research and analysis on energy and climate for 14 years, working directly with a number of research institutions such as Argonne National Lab, Los Alamos National Lab, NREL, and NETL, and has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Energy and Environmental Policy.
