This week, Jonathan Ogland-Hand of Carbon Solutions presents on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) representation in capacity expansion models at NREL’s 2021 Annual ReEDS User Group Meeting. For this project, geologic CO₂ storage supply curves from 𝘚𝘊𝘖₂𝘛ᴾᴿᴼ were integrated into NREL’s ReEDS model to study the impact that CO₂ storage site-level assumptions may have on grid-level investment decisions.
