Erin Middleton

President

Erin is the President of Carbon Solutions. She is passionate about helping stakeholders make informed decisions about which low-carbon energy technologies make sense for their communities while meeting local, state, and federal climate goals. She provides technical and analytical support for community benefits plans, environmental and energy justice, geologic carbon sequestration, and hydrogen.

Prior to Carbon Solutions, Erin’s work has integrated a variety of disciplines and methodological approaches, including demography, population geography, program evaluation, strategic planning, climate surveys in educational settings, tribal engagement, family engagement, qualitative and quantitative evaluation of student test scores, and survey development and evaluation.  She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue in Environmental Geoscience, and a master’s and PhD in Geography from UC Santa Barbara.
