Tracey Ziev

Research Engineer

Tracey Ziev is a Research Engineer investigating CO2 capture, storage, and transport. She has extensive interdisciplinary engineering experience in the energy sector. Her expertise includes technoeconomic analysis, policy analysis, electricity generation, nuclear power, project management, and quality assurance.

Before joining Carbon Solutions, Tracey was obtaining her PhD in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focused on technoeconomic analysis of additive manufactured heat exchangers for concentrating solar power and other energy applications. Prior to that she worked as a Senior Performance Assurance Associate at Argonne National Laboratory, as a Senior Quality Assurance Associate for Sargent & Lundy, LLC, and as a Project Engineer and Reactor Engineer at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
